On view at Beatrice Burati Anderson Gallery in Venice, the exhibition Chéri et cetera, a personal project by Andrea Ferolla, with no commission, just a spark of creativity—perhaps a slight obsession. Notes, sketches, portraits, nudes pursue an era, a climate, the theatricality of a gesture, the study of a mocking clin d’œil. Chéri, the protagonist of Colette’s novel—beautiful, unbearably anti-romantic and young—becomes here the ideal actor for these style exercises. The et cetera embodies the background, trespassing into Radiguet’s “perfect” novel, The Devil in the Flesh.
The exhibition will be open until December 4, 2025 Tuesday to Sunday, 11:00 am–1:00 pm / 3:00 pm–7:00 pm. The gallery will be closed from November 4 to 9, 2025.
